Identification
Ventral lobe of surstylus with flattened preapical process on
dorsal margin, inner lobe of surstylus present, 2nd, 3rd, 4th abdominal tergites have undivided yellow bands and tergite 5 with two broad
to narrow longitudinal yellow marks. Also they have yellow legs and apical tarsomere of fore and mid legs light brown to black and darker than basal tarsomere (Vockeroth 1992).
Length: 7.6-9.6 mm (Vockeroth 1992)
Distribution
Canada, South to California, Mexico, and Florida (Vockeroth 1992).
